Mission Appeal.
At this weekends Masses there will be an appeal from the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.
Sister will talk about their work and apostolate, and make an appeal to your generosity to help with this.

This Sunday, 30th August :-
- Refreshments in the hall after Mass..
- Benediction and Confession
As now on Sundays the main time for confessions in St. Davids is on Sunday afternoon starting from 3pm, rather than Saturday evening.
This will also be a time of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a time of quiet prayer and reflection, which will end with Benediction at 3.50pm.

Whithorn Pilgrimage.
The annual national pilgrimage to Whithorn is this Sunday, 30th August, at 4.00pm on the beach at Port Castle Bay.

This Wednesday, 2nd September, Parish Lunch in the hall after Noon Mass.

Youth
Group.
The parish youth group is this Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Davids Hall.

Altar Servers
‘The Annual Day for Altar Servers takes place on Saturday 5th September from 10:30am to 3:00pm at The Gillis Centre in Edinburgh.

Children’s Liturgy Leaders' Morning.
A morning of prayer and reflection for Children’s Liturgy leaders will be held on Saturday, 12th September, from 9:00am-midday, at The Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1EE.
The event will begin with Mass in St. Margaret’s Chapel, celebrated by Fr .Adrian Porter SJ, followed by sessions on reading and reflecting on the Gospels and on personal prayer.

Venerable Margaret Sinclair Pilgrimage.
This year's pilgrimage takes place on Sunday 20th September
at St. Patrick's Church in The Cowgate, Edinburgh.
It's the annual opportunity to come together to pray for the Beatification of the Venerable Margaret Sinclair, entombed in the Sacred Heart chapel at St. Patrick's.
Schedule:
12:30pm
- Sale of candles & goods, refreshments;
1:30pm- Holy Hour(exposition and benediction);
3:00pm- Reflection from Canon Jock Dalrymple;
4:30pm- Mass celebrated by Archbishop Cushley (Homilist: Fr. Michael John Galbraith).

National Youth Pilgrimage.
The National Youth Pilgrimage (for ages 18-35) will take place on Saturday 26th September at Pluscarden Abbey.
This year’s pilgrimage will focus on religious and monastic life and will include a tour of the Abbey, a Q&A with the monks, talks on vocation, and a Vigil Mass with Archbishop Cushley.
Young people are invited to travel with the Archdiocese.

Saturday 5pm — 5.40pm and before weekday Masses - St David’s.
