Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
This Sacrament is celebrated at the following times,

  • St. David’s, Dalkeith :- Saturday evening from 5.20 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. before Vigil Mass.
  • St. Luke & St. Anne’s, Mayfield :- Saturday morning from 9.30 a.m. before and then immediately after 10.00 a.m. Mass.
  • In either parish, at any suitable time by request.

Wednesday 15th August is the Solemnity of the Assumption of Our Lady
and is a Holyday of Obligation.

We welcome into the Church Harry Patrick Kirkwood who was baptised last Sunday!

Please remember in your prayers Anne Donlevy who died on Thursday morning.
Details of the funeral Mass for Anne
will be made known when available.
We pray for Anne and her family.
May she rest in peace.

18th/19th August - Fr. Patrick's StreetInvest Collection.
Parishioners from St. Luke's asked to be included in any collection.
Deirdre will collect donations outside the church, after Vigil and both Sunday Masses.

Next Sunday (19th August)
Simple teas/coffees/biscuits after Mass.
200 Club Grand Prize Draw, only fully paid up members will be entered into the prize draw.

Saturday 25th August - Deacon Peter Traynor will be holding a "Safeguarding Induction Training" Part 1. Session for all Parish Volunteers in the St. David’s Church Hall starting at 2 p.m. for about 2 hours approx.

Sunday 2nd September.
The National Pilgrimage
to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes at Carfin will take place.

Thursday 6th September.
Tickets are available to see Bishop Robert Barron
in the Usher Hall.

These will be sold on a first-come first-served basis.
Please see Fr. Andrew if you are interested in going.


Sunday 9th September.
The Annual Pilgrimage
to pray for the Beatification of the Venerable Margaret Sinclair will take place at St. Patrick’s Church in the Cowgate.

Saturday 6th October.
“The Role of the Laity in the Church Today”.

Wednesday 5th December - Pantomime 2018, Beauty and the Beast, is at 7 p.m..
We have ordered 130 tickets, £25 for adults and £13 for under 16's.
Sunday 16th September, you can reserve and pay for tickets after 11 a.m. Mass at St. David's church hall.
